WKF CERTIFICATION
What is WKF Approval?
The World Karate Federation (WKF) is the international governing body for sport karate. WKF-approved uniforms meet strict technical specifications required for official competition — including fabric weight, color standards, logo placement regulations, and fit requirements.
Why It Matters
If you compete in any official WKF-sanctioned event — national championships, continental championships, or the Olympic qualifier circuit — your uniform must be WKF approved. Wearing a non-approved gi can result in disqualification before the first match.
